The Land Cruiser came back from the Safari fitment guys today with a new roof rack, new air suspension (which is filled using a bicycle pump from the rear of the vehicle – very high-tech) and a very styling new snorkel. 3 things off the list. I looove the snorkel. I’ve always wanted a vehicle with a snorkel. Who doesn’t? To be fair, I’m not sure we need one at all (the 4×4 “experts” who were selling it to me suggested we did) but it just makes the Land Cruiser look so damned cool that it seemed a good investment. The roof rack has a ladder. And now with the roof rack in place, we can add the tent, the jerry cans, the water tank and the gas tank to the rack (all of which we really DO need). The air suspension is pretty cool too, though if overinflated makes the car handle like a balloon with wheels and induces almost immediate vomiting.
