This is worth US$0.000000000000000000001!!!!!!!! Crazy.
Huh??? Think about it: Zimbabwe $100 000 000 000 000 = R0.oo
We met a man here who said that he had to take a full wheelbarrow of one hundred trillion dollar bills just to buy one loaf of bread. So they stopped using Zimbabwean Dollars and now they use US Dollars. I couldn’t buy anything with one hundred trillion dollars. Absolutely nothing at all. My Dad got me a 50 trillion dollar note – and I’m going to keep collecting the old Zimbabwean dollars.
I am having a good time. Grandma, if you’re reading this, Victoria Falls makes Niagara Falls look like a running tap. The idea of bungee jumping off Victoria Falls is absolutely mad. There are lots of activities at Victoria Falls. Boating, quad-biking, bungee-jumping, paragliding, microlights, zip-sliding, parachute jumping, skydiving, tandem gliding, tandem swinging.
My favourite part of the trip so far was Ais-Ais in Namibia but Victoria Falls was awesome. The worst part of the trip was Springbok because there were no animals, the campsite was rubbish and we had to drive 8 hours to get there. I’m looking forward to the boat ride on the Zambezi River today. My parents say we might not go on it because of the crazy rain.
The people on the streets are mad about selling you things. They jump onto the back of the car and open the back door and say “do you want to buy my plastic ducky?”. Do you want to know how my Dad gets them off? He brakes fast and beeps his horn (not really…). But they are mad about selling you things.
It is a relief to have Oliver back even if he is annoying – very annoying.

Wow, Ben ! You sound to be having an amazing time.Keep saving those dollars, you never know when they might come in handy. Glad you liked the Falls; they are awesome aren’t they? Niagara Falls are all frozen over now so they look pretty good, too.
How are you doing with the long drives or have you convinced your Mum and Dad to keep the journeys shorter? Are you taking lots of photographs? I can’t wait to see them.
Be nice to Oliver, just for a while, anyway.
Lots of love to you all
Grandma
